$25.43 - $47.26At Infinera, your base pay is one part of your total compensation package. Your actual base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. This role may be eligible for equity grants, discretionary bonuses, or commission payments. The amount of these incentives is based on the terms of the Company’s incentive plans, the Company’s financial performance, and/or individual employee job performance.

Assembly / System Test Technician Weekends
Hourly position responsible for Assembly and System test of Line Cards and Products for Infinera New Product Introduction (NPI) located in Allentown, PA
Essential Functions / Key Responsibilities
- Assemble multiple Infinera products together to create a system-level Staging Test to ensure product quality at customer sites
- Create product troubleshooting guides.
- Support failure analysis and root cause identification and corrective action implementation of components, sub-systems, and field failures.
Education / Experience
- Minimum 2-year degree or 4-year degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- Knowledge / Skills / Abilities
- Knowledge of system-level telecommunication equipment a plus
- Strong analytical/problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Ability to work under pressure, organize and prioritize responsibilities
- Passion to learn.
- Experience in Opto / Optical environment a plus!
- Ability to work overtime as needed
