Job Title: Senior Associate - 6BF, Cash Management & GL

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Associate to join our SSC Finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the general ledger, prepayments, cash postings, and intercompany activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Record to Report (RTR) processes and excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform general ledger activities and ensure all transactions are accurately recorded in accordance with GAAP
  • Prepare and post bank journal entries for AR, AP, tax, payroll, bank fees, IC fund transfers
  • Monitor and clear payments, receipts, and internal transfers in cash clearing accounts.
  • Calculate the monthly amortization of prepaid expenses and record the amortization entries in the accounting system
  • Oversee intercompany transactions, reconciliations, and settlements between different business units.
  • Perform month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities
  • Post FX revaluation entries for bank GL accounts at month-end.
  • Reconcile bank & Prepayments GL accounts in blackline tool and rectify any discrepancies.
  • Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to streamline processes, reduce errors, and improve overall financial efficiency
  • Ensure compliance with accounting policies, internal controls, and regulatory requirements..
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of financial reporting.

Requirements:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field is required. CA/CMA Inter qualification is preferred.

Experience: Minimum of 6 to 8 years of experience in accounting or finance, with a focus on Cash Management, Intercompany, Prepayment & General Ledger processes.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Blackline) and Microsoft office

Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.

Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Team Player: Collaborative approach with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
