POSITION TITLE:
Embedded Software Quality Assurance Engineer - Layer 0
POSITION DESCRIPTION AND KEY RESPONSABILITIES:
The candidate will work in a multi-national\cultural environment, part of a cross-functional Scrum team that delivers high quality Infinera advanced optical networks
The QA Engineer will work in the Product RD lifecycle:
Reviewing Product Specifications
Developing Test Plans, creating HW\cloud-based test scenarios
Executing test specifications and documenting results
Test automation initiatives based in Python
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Profile:
MSc / BS degrees in Computer Science, Telecommunications, Physics or related field
Fluent in English, spoken and written
ISTQB certification is valuable
Technical skills:
DWDM/OTN/IP/Packet technologies and fundamentals of Optical Transmission
Previous experience in SW testing, Test Automation or Telecom is highly valued
Personal Attributes:
Responsible and accountable
Good communication skills including ability to share knowledge
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
