The Business Intelligence and Foresight team is an integral part of the IGM Strategy, Planning, and Analysis function and is responsible for planning & forecasting infrastructure/support, core expense and FTE reporting, ownership of chart of accounts relating to Expense Management within SAP, development and maintenance of data models within data warehouses, as well as spearheading numerous projects relating to exploration of data within the SAP HANA/BW environments leading to automation of key reports. The team also collaborates extensively across IGM Strategy, Planning, and Analysis; IGM Data Services; and reporting functions within Finance & Distribution.

This role as Sr Specialist, Financial Analysis & Insights will be part of a core team responsible for facilitating time sensitive month end data uploads as well as supporting Finance Business Partners with reporting, journal entries, planning & forecasting activities.

Responsibilities include:

• Support Finance Business Partners and respective business areas with:
• Reporting and variance analysis
• Planning and forecasting activities
• Meta Data Management:
• Maintain fact tables in FP&A reporting system
• Responsible for coordinating changes to ERP system
• Ensure accuracy between all leveraged systems
• Run Monthly Data Loads
• Prepare monthly FTE data
• ETL FTE data into downstream reporting tools
• Carry out ad-hoc tasks as required

Qualifications:

• Business degree and/or currently pursuing CPA with 4+ years of progressive Financial Analysis or related field experience
• Experience in working with SAP suite of solutions will be considered an asset
• Intermediate proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint and VBA
• Strong ability to understand applications of data and analyze results
• Proven analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks within tight deadlines on an ongoing basis
• Strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
