The Role:

The Senior Associate, Corporate Channel Marketing will engage with a wide variety of stakeholders across Distribution, Product and Marketing teams to manage initiatives that engage Corporate Clients as we continue to build out the channel with employee advisors. This will involve creating and executing on campaign plans, and digital client communication strategies with a focus on email marketing programs.

Major responsibilities include:

• Participating in the marketing planning process to drive deeper engagement, and a differentiated client experience

• Identifying and creating tactical plans to turn strategic priorities into deliverables, inclusive of content and campaign development and internal/external communications

• Leading the timely development, design and introduction of new/updated email campaigns via an effective briefing process and efficient, productive interactions with internal and external agency resources (including writers, editors, designers, email marketing team and production specialists)

• Work with the leader to uncover opportunities to increase revenue, retention and/or referrals

• Forging and maintaining close relationships with key business partners inside IG Wealth Management to foster understanding of different parts of the business and their priorities, and ensure a smooth, cooperative and coordinated delivery of marketing initiatives

• Analyzing customer, competitive touchpoints, and industry research to surface opportunities for action/improvement in the development of marketing tools and service enhancements, with a focus on understanding Salesforce Marketing Cloud capabilities and best practices for email marketing

Minimum Requirements:

• A minimum of three years in marketing

• Experience within the financial services / banking industry preferred

• Knowledge of wealth management and asset management and interest to learn about the industry

• Strong interpersonal communications skills, presentation and (copy) writing ability

• Excellent knowledge of and first hand experience digital and email marketing

• Relationship management and influencing skills

• Ability to, “roll up your sleeves” and get things done

• Demonstrated track record of creativity in tackling business challenges and promoting an organization’s products and services

• Proficiency in MS Office Suite, specifically PowerPoint and Excel

• Experience workign with Salesforce Marketing Cloud preferred; email marketing experience required
  

Education:

• A University degree or College Diploma with an emphasis on Marketing, Communications or Business Administration
