Your Role

As a Forward Deployed Engineer at ForgeSight, you’ll work directly with client teams to deliver meaningful, data-driven solutions using Palantir Foundry and AIP. You’ll be at the intersection of data integration, analytics, and application development, bringing the best of Foundry’s capabilities to life. Your work will help clients unlock insights, automate workflows, and build operational intelligence systems that scale.

Responsibilities

Your day-to-day responsibilities will vary by project, but may include:

• Design and build data and model integrations that connect Foundry to diverse data sources and enterprise systems.
• Develop and deploy applications, dashboards, and workflows within Foundry to address real-world client challenges.
• Create and maintain data ontologies and governance frameworks that ensure data consistency, quality, and usability across the platform.
• Advise clients on Foundry best practices, aligning platform architecture to business goals and future needs.
• Collaborate with client and internal teams, including data scientists, developers, and business stakeholders, to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Develop APIs, connectors, and reusable components to accelerate solution delivery.
• Document solutions, author platform guidance, and support knowledge sharing.
• Identify and address platform issues, driving continuous improvement in deployments.
• Support service management processes and ensure governance for Foundry environments.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience working with Palantir Foundry and/or AIP.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, and data science or analytics concepts.
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to navigate complex data and systems landscapes.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Preferred Experience

• 2+ years of professional experience in data engineering, analytics, full stack development, or similar fields.
• Master’s degree in a relevant discipline.
• Experience designing data models, ontologies, and platform governance frameworks.
• Exposure to modern DevOps practices, APIs, and integration patterns.
• Experience working with collaborative tools (e.g., GitHub, Atlassian suite, M365).
• A proactive mindset, with the ability to identify and close gaps independently.
