We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Senior Financial Planning and Analysis Manager.

Principal Responsibilities

• Working closely with Asia Head of Financial Planning and Analysis to provide the Board / EXCO with timely and insightful analytics to support strategic decision making and drive better business performance across the region
• Developing analyses and insights in respect of key performance metrics for Asia, both historical and forward-looking. These analyses are required for identifying business risks and opportunities to support Board / EXCO and investor presentations
• Playing a key role in reviewing and challenging the forecast projections, analysing internal and external data to uncover trends, patterns, and root-cause relationships between different impact factors and supporting value identification
• Representing the team to work with a wide range of stakeholders on transformation initiatives around financial planning processes, including gathering business requirements, coordinating and managing with different stakeholders, communicating outcomes with senior management, etc
• Building strong relationships with key stakeholders, adopting a joined-up approach to execute change at pace
• Challenging the status quo to improve efficiency and effectiveness, including enhancement to reporting capabilities, automation processes, data visualisation initiatives, etc

The role holder will get exposure to work with a range of senior stakeholders. The role will suit an individual who is looking to raise their profile, take on significant responsibilities and be involved in business / strategic change projects.

• Qualified accountant will be an advantage
• Excellent oral and written English. Sound communication skills with the ability to explain complicated financial matters in clear (non-jargon) language
• Experience in financial planning / budgeting. Strong analytical skills with a commercial mindset, and an excellent grasp of business acumen. Previous Business Finance / Financial Reporting experience will be a plus
• Good understanding about data infrastructure, data quality, analytics and controls
• Demonstrate strong project discipline, planning and collaboration skills. Able to adapt to change, anticipate issues and resolve problems in a timely manner
• Solution oriented mindset and proactive approach in driving change and innovation
• Ambitious, driven and enthusiastic – proactive thinker
