We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Associate Lead Architect

In this role you will:

The ideal candidate is passionate about End User technology with knowledge of how the ways that End User technology is designed, built, and run to contribute to overall user experience. They will work at a global level on initiatives within HSBC and play a key role in uplifting the quality of service and simplification of systems for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • The principal accountabilities of the Platform Architect for Colleague and Collaboration are to:
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of architecture strategy, standards, blueprints, and roadmaps for Colleague and Collaboration area encompassing Collaboration, Real Time Communications and Workspace Platforms .
  • Provide Architecture consultancy and drive simplification for CTO Colleague and Collaboration,
  • Introduce new practices, processes, techniques, products, services, technologies, and standards where needed against identified use cases, via the appropriate HSBC governance bodies.
  • Adopt a customer-centric culture that encourages outstanding service and deepens customer insight through co-creation.
  • Contribute to the definition, actively promote, and embed the scope of architecture, including promoting and embedding the benefits, and sharing best practice techniques, standards and tools.
Requirements

To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Exp : 12+ Years
  • Experience in IT within a complex global organisation (preferably in a highly regulated industry such as Financial Services), and the Architecture, Engineering or Process disciplines within it.
  • Experience of industry standard tools supporting Colleague and Collaboration including one or more of the following Windows 10/11, Mobile management with Microsoft Intune including Azure, Citrix/VDI and thin clients Operating Systems, Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager, Microsoft 365 & Exchange/Outlook, Voice and Video, Media Recording.
  • Able to translate business needs into appropriate technology solutions.
  • Able to explain technical complexity to a non-technical audience.
  • Ability to compare and contrast different solutions to meet a business requirement (preferable experience of supporting and designing on-premise, public cloud, externally hosted and SaaS solutions).
  • Capability to evaluate new technologies to meet business requirements and influence key stakeholders leading to adoption.
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills; an ability to communicate with impact, ensuring complex information is articulated in a meaningful way to wide and varied audiences including senior executive management.
