We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Lead Consultant Specialist

In this role, you will

• Manage programme strategy and approach across a series of Capabilities or Features, building stakeholder buy-in around plans, commitments and changes
• Assist business stakeholders with the decomposition of complex business requirements into Features, Epics, User Stories that can be delivered by Technology teams via respective backlogs with minimum cross product co-ordination
• Drive delivery and pro-actively manage schedule, risks, budgets, scope, and interdependencies.
• Manage governance & reporting to stakeholders including value stream leads from business and technology.
• Oversee management of any 3rd Party relationships, including negotiation and management of service agreement monitoring.
• Ensure that the Technology mission statement /vision and technology plans are communicated effectively across the necessary Teams
• Support the development and promotion of delivery management practises and tools across the regional Unsecured technology portfolio.
• Drive the adoption of HSBC standards and work in alignment with HSBC methodology at all times.
• Engage with key stakeholders such as head of technology functions, value stream leads and product leads in WPB

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

• IT Process and methodology knowledge (sAFE, LPM) and organisational prowess
• Proven experience of managing complex and high value technology delivery programmes with multiple teams across different geographies
• Highly organised with excellent communication skills (both verbal and written/presentational)
• An ability to navigate a complex organisational construct
• A desire to solve issues and think outside standard solutions
• Be able to respond quickly to changing demands and priorities and be comfortable working independently
