The Avionics industry is entering into a new exciting age of Urban Air Mobility and Autonomous Flight.

Become a part of a team that will lead the way in this market by developing new compact and lightweight Next-Generation Traffic and Surveillance Avionics that will be used on a wide variety of aircraft platforms, from Air Transport and Business Jets to Urban Air Mobility (UAM) / Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS). You will help create breakthrough innovations that will ensure Honeywell’s leadership position in this space.

Key Responsibilities

You will play a critical role in creating system solutions for the TCAS (Traffic Collision Avoidance System) and Transponder Product Team that will meet the long-term evolving needs of our customers. Your expertise in systems engineering will contribute to the successful delivery of cutting-edge avionics solutions that will impact the aviation industry.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on next-generation new product development projects, directly contributing to the advancement of aviation technology in the Traffic and Surveillance Avionics space.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams consisting of Systems, Software, Hardware and Test Engineers to understand customer requirements and provide innovative solutions

U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status or have the ability to obtain an export authorization

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics
  • 5+ years of Systems Engineering experience

WE VALUE

  • Knowledge of Avionics products and their development lifecycle.
  • Knowledge of TCAS and Transponder products and development lifecycle
  • Competence to convey subtle or complex messages clearly, as appropriate for the topic and audienc
  • Experience with RF products
  • Experience with the FAA certification process for avionics is of value.
  • Experience in working with aircraft manufacturers such as Boeing, Airbus, Dassault, etc is of value.
  • Individuals that quickly analyze, incorporate and apply new information and concepts.
  • Ability to adapt dictated by project changes
