As an Advanced Data Analyst here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in driving data-driven insights and analytics to optimize operational efficiency and improve decision-making within the Honeywell Building Automation (BA) business unit. You will work with a team of analysts to analyze complex data sets, identify trends, and provide actionable recommendations to enhance business performance. Your ability to translate complex data into actionable insights will be key in ensuring data integrity and accuracy.

You will report directly to BA Global Commercial Analytics Leader and you'll work out of our Mexico location on a hybrid work schedule.

In this role, you will have a direct impact on the success of the BA business unit by leveraging data to drive strategic initiatives, improve operational processes, and identify growth opportunities.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Analyze large and complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
  • Develop and implement data models, algorithms, and statistical techniques to support business decision-making.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements/challenges and develop analytical / data-driven solutions
  • Create data visualizations and reports to effectively communicate findings to stakeholders.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement, increased cost savings, and automation through data analysis.
  • Translate complex data into actionable insights to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in data analytics.
  • Work closely with commercial excellence teams, marketing, finance, and other departments to foster collaboration and alignment. Communicate findings, insights, and recommendations to stakeholders, providing guidance and support to enable data-driven decision-making.

YOU MUST HAVE

  • 3+ years of experience in data analysis or related fields.
  • Proficiency in data and ETL, analysis tools and programming languages such as Python, R, SQL, etc.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

WE VALUE

  • Bachelor's / Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Data Science, Analytics, Engineering, IT).
  • Experience in the building automation industry or related field.
  • Knowledge of advanced analytics techniques (e.g., machine learning, predictive modeling, etc.).
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, etc.).
  • Experience with data transformation / ETL tools (e.g., Alteryx, Sigma, Tableau Prep., MS SQL Server, CRMA).
  • CRM systems and familiarity with sales data sources and structures.
  • SalesForce business/ technical knowledge
  • Experience in Snowflake
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work with large data sets.
