Advanced Test Engineer


As an Advanced Test Engineer here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive testing to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products. Your expertise in testing methodologies and tools will be crucial in identifying and addressing potential issues, ensuring a seamless user experience. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to define test plans, execute test cases, and provide valuable insights for product improvement.

You will report directly to our Test Engineering Manager and you'll work out of our Mexico City, Mexico location on a hybrid work schedule.

In this role, you will impact the development of cutting-edge software products that are used across industries worldwide. Your contributions will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and usability of our software solutions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to define comprehensive test plans and acceptance criteria
• Execute test cases and analyze test results to identify and report software defects
• Utilize advanced testing methodologies and tools to ensure the quality and reliability of software products
• Provide valuable insights and recommendations for product improvement based on testing results
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure timely resolution of identified issues
• Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies in testing to enhance testing methodologies

YOU MUST HAVE

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in Manual Testing and Automation.
• Experience testing with Java
• Strong knowledge of testing best practices and industry standards
• Experience in executing test cases and analyzing test results
• Advanced English
