As an integral member of the Engines Supplier Readiness Organization, at Honeywell Aerospace Technologies, your role is to lead and execute the procurement strategy for the value stream, including but not limited to transition/reposition projects, spot-buys, manage productivity POs, and support critical business needs to achieve rate readiness objectives.

Located at the Honeywell Aerospace Technologies campus in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico, this position is intended to work with suppliers, program managers, procurement, sourcing, and executive leaders.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and execute all procurement activities related to Engines Supplier Readiness
• Build a strong MOS with OpEx and Program Managers to track Productivity POs and achieve overall productivity targets.
• Support continuity of supply by expediting emergency POs with alternative suppliers, with 100% adherence to rules and regulations.
• Apply and secure FedMall access to support Defense programs as needed.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain Expansion and Readiness teams to drive continuous improvements activities and streamline support and communication.

U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.

YOU MUST HAVE

• 5+ years of demonstrated experience in Procurement.
• Strong communication skills and bias for action.
• Ability to travel 10%

• Ability to understand customer’s position and situation.
• Good knowledge of procurement tools and processes
• Ability to perform assignments and special projects independently or with little supervision.
