As a Senior Test Manufacturing Engineer at Honeywell, you will be responsible for the design and execution of testing solutions. You will also provide technical support to the testing support team to ensure the maintenance and repair of all testing equipment across production departments.

You will report directly to the Manufacturing Engineering Manager and will work on-site at our Lugoj, Romania location.

Responsibilities:

  • Define the testing strategy and specifications in collaboration with product design engineers.
  • Create, verify, and adapt software and hardware solutions for product testing systems during the design phases or in serial production, according to specifications.
  • Define and develop specific tests (poka-yoke, lean).
  • Validate and qualify testing solutions (GR&R, CP&CpK, NFF).
  • Document testing solutions (FSO, FSU, procedures, manuals).
  • Create CAPEX for the introduction of new testing technologies.
  • Develop software testing solutions in line with specifications for assigned projects.
  • Track and monitor testing parameters based on data provided by available databases for NPI products until the product is released into production by the NPI quality department.
  • Define construction standards to standardize testing solutions.
  • Provide technical support for testing equipment following escalation from the testing operations support team.

Requirements:

  • Hold a technical degree in electronics, telecommunications, automation, or computer science.
  • Have a minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role within an electronic equipment manufacturing company.
  • Possess applied electronics knowledge at a development level, along with programming skills in C++, LabVIEW, TestStand, and CVI, as well as proficiency in database navigation and modification.
  • Be proficient in English and familiar with data analytics tools such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Exhibit strong teamwork and communication skills.
