As a Strategic Sourcing Specialist II here at Honeywell, you will be accountable for analyzing and managing materials within our supply chain network. You will report directly to our Sr. Materials Manager, and you’ll work on-site out of our Minneapolis, MN location.

In this role, you will play a critical role in optimizing our materials planning and inventory management processes. You will analyze demand patterns, forecast accuracy, and inventory levels to ensure efficient supply chain operations. Your insights and recommendations will directly impact our ability to meet customer demand and achieve operational excellence.

As a Strategic Sourcing Specialist II here at Honeywell, you will drive procurement strategies, manage supplier performance, and ensure supply continuity.

MUST HAVE:

•1-3 related Supply Chain/Procurement experience

• Experience with SAP or similar procurement systems preferred

• Proficient in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook)

Ability to multi-task and assess priorities in a complex and demanding environment

Ability to deal with ambiguity

Effective communication (verbal and written) and collaboration skills

The annual base salary range for this position is $68,000-$95,000. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Complete day to day buyer activities for the material product portfolio and may include other sourcing activities including outsourced metal fabrication services, chemical purchasing, or other products to support the factory
• Interface between planners and global buyers and take action as a buyer for the site when necessary
• Monitor global buyer activities to ensure timely placement of scheduling agreements and POs in a non-MRP environment
• Attend and take actions from various factory meetings such as tiered-accountability meetings
• Coordinate with various functions and the external supply base to resolve supply issues and bottlenecks
