·Key Responsibilities:
· System Implementation & Support: Deploy, configure, and maintain MES software; troubleshoot hardware and software issues within the production environment.
· Requirements Gathering & Systems Analysis: Collaborate with Quality and Operations teams to analyze and verify operational needs, translating them into functional IT requirements to align with business objectives.
· Integration: Ensure effective connectivity of MES with PLC/Industrial PCs interfaces, ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and various shop floor tools for seamless data flow and process automation. Leverage tools like Ignition and Station controller software for real-time monitoring, data collection, and operational control on the shop floor.
· Development & Coding: Create, debug, and modify applications in C#, ASP.NET and No code/Low code frameworks. Manage SQL database objects and develop middleware solutions for enhanced functionality.
· Documentation & Validation: Prepare functional specifications, technical designs, user manuals, and comprehensive system documentation.
Key Skills:
Systems Analysis:
· Proficient in requirements gathering to translate business needs into clear IT functionalities.
· Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, including production, quality, and inventory management.
· Excellent analytical skills to assess system performance and identify improvement opportunities.
· Effective communication skills to bridge the gap between IT and manufacturing operations.
Programming & Scripting:
· Strong proficiency in C#, ASP.NET, No code/Low code frameworks, and SQL, with experience in developing applications and middleware for enhanced functional integration.
· Familiarity with Python/Java for creating automation scripts and data processing tools.
· Advanced SQL skills for managing datasets and generating reports.
Shop Floor Integration
· Experience with software based Equipment Control and Monitoring. Continuous monitor of equipment performance and anomalies detection including recipe management, parameter settings, and process execution.
· Seamless communication between the equipment and MES, facilitating real-time data exchange and coordination of production activities.
SAP Integration
· Knowledge of IDocs and BAPIs including data mapping using JSON/XML for data exchange between SAP and MES, including production orders and inventory updates.
· Experience with OData and REST APIs for data integration in SAP S/4HANA
