In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing accounting policies and procedures specific to the country or region, ensuring adherence to local regulatory requirements and best practices. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including local finance teams, tax, legal, and other stakeholders, to drive process improvements and efficiency in financial operations.
You will report directly to our Senior Manager, Controllership and you’ll work out of our Phoenix, AZ location on a Hybrid work schedule.

As the Manager of Controllership at Honeywell, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the controllership function, ensuring compliance with accounting policies and regulations, leading the financial close processes, conducting financial analysis to support business decision-making, and preparing reports for internal and external stakeholders to maintain transparency and adherence to industry standards.
YOU MUST HAVE
- CPA or equivalent certification
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in accounting or controllership roles
- Strong knowledge of local accounting standards and regulations
- Experience with ERP systems and financial consolidation tools
- Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail
- Proven track record of driving process improvements and implementing best practices
