We have an opportunity for a Site Engineering Leader to join us at Honeywell, in Nagykanizsa, Hungary. In this role, you will ensure engineering, maintenance and facility support required for the production site’s day-to-day efficient operations. You will drive and support projects involving new product introduction, product transfers and efficiency, as well as handle technical documentations.

Key responsibilities

• Ensures productions site’s technical excellence as well as availability of hardwares and technology
• Participates in preparations, enhancement and operation of production system processes.
• Executes product and technology transfers.
• Facilitates co-operation between Engineering and R&D team.
• Provides engineering support for tester, target and processing machines.
• Continuous improvement of production efficiency and cycle time.
• Explores, prepares and executes investment opportunities.
• Explores, prepares and executes automization opportunities.
• Continuous improvement of material stream with the help of tool map optimization.

Key skills and qualifications

• Bachelor or University Degree of Mechanic/Electronic Engineer
• Knowledge of Six Sigma and LEAN
• Advanced English knowledge
• Min. 5 years experience in Engineering support
• Leadership experience, Team leading experience
• Excellent communication and analytical skills
• Solid knowledge of ERP and other document handling applications.
• Understand and practices change management process
• Good communication skills
• Strategic thinking
• Business acumen
• Independent worker
