As an HSE Engineer II here at Honeywell, you will foster a culture of safety, health, and environmental responsibility, ensuring compliance and promoting sustainability. You will manage budgets and collaborate across departments. You will report directly to our Sr HSE Manager and you’ll work out of our Mexicali, BC location on a Hybrid work schedule.
YOU MUST HAVE
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in technical disciplines such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics, Industrial Hygiene knowledge
- At least 4 years of experience in HSE engineering
- In-depth knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations and best practices
- Proficiency in risk assessment and incident investigation techniques
- Advanced English

- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Access, Visio and SAP

- Develop and execute comprehensive HSE strategies that align with the organization's mission, fostering a culture of safety, health, and environmental responsibility.
- Ensure that the organization complies with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations, permits, and certifications.
- Conduct thorough risk assessments and safety audits to identify potential hazards and implement engineering solutions and preventive measures.
- Develop and implement safety training programs to promote a culture of safety
- Investigate incidents and accidents to identify root causes and implement corrective actions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate HSE considerations into business processes
