The Senior Contract Administrator is responsible for the post-signature management and administration of contracts within the organization, with a primary focus on loading contract data into the SAP system. This role ensures that all contractual terms and conditions, as negotiated and finalized by the Account Owner, are accurately reflected in SAP. The Senior Contract Administrator plays a critical part in the ongoing maintenance and compliance of contractual agreements, including annual price escalation updates. The Senior Contract Administrator does not participate in the drafting, negotiation, or modification of contract terms. Their responsibilities begin once the contract is fully executed and signed. They are accountable for ensuring the integrity of contract data within SAP and for maintaining compliance with contractual obligations throughout the contract’s lifecycle.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Finance, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in contract administration or related role, with demonstrable experience working with SAP.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to interpret and apply contractual terms and conditions as provided by Account Owners.
  • Proficiency in Excel and SAP contract management modules.

Key Responsibilities

  • Load signed contracts into the SAP system, ensuring all terms and conditions previously negotiated by the Account Owner are accurately entered.
  • Review contract documentation for completeness and correctness prior to system entry.
  • Maintain a schedule for annual price escalation updates and implement these changes in SAP as specified in each contract.
  • Collaborate with the Account Owner, Pricing, Contract Manager and other internal stakeholders to clarify contractual terms and resolve any administrative issues related to contract loading.
  • Monitor contract lifecycle milestones in SAP to ensure ongoing compliance and timely updates.
  • Generate regular reports on contract status, escalations, and compliance metrics from SAP for management review.
  • Serve as the point of contact for internal teams regarding contract administration questions post-signature.
  • Support audit activities by providing accurate contract records and documentation as required.
