Snr Advanced Software Engineer (Historian) is responsible for applying expert knowledge of technologies relevant to the Honeywell and competitor Historian products space to provide first class support, improve product quality, distribute product knowledge, and deliver product innovation through software development tasks – to ultimately make our solutions more successful.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop expert understanding of selected PHD/Enterprise Historian subsystems. Develop product enhancements through a range of activities across the full software development lifecycle
2. Develop, maintain, and extend automated test infrastructure
3. Contribute to test execution for PHD releases and updates
4. First or second line PHD developer level support to GTAC and to PHD development team
5. Contribute to innovation ideas, technology exploration and implementation in Honeywell historian offerings
6. Contribute to product user and technical documentation, knowledge sharing articles and next generation user assistance solutions

Key Experience & Capabilities:

• Tertiary qualification in engineering, computer science or equivalent discipline
• Established expertise with Honeywell PHD, Experion DCS, or EBI (5 years minimum of hands-on experience) ideally with history subsystem knowledge
• 10+ years software experience
• Familiar with analysis, design, coding, testing and support of software
