Join a team that designs, develops and integrates highly complex systems within Honeywell Aerospace. You will be integral in creating software solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers. You will have ownership of software at every aspect of the life-cycle; from the front end of business development through product end of life. You will work across disciplines within the Electronic Systems business to drive growth and reach critical business milestones.

Be part of the Anthem Flight Management Solutions team. You will be a working with the team assuring to meet all technical requirements, support functional load deliveries and ultimately, supports certification requirements. You will coordinate with the team leader in the prioritization of work packages, design goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Avionics or embedded Systems development
  • Understanding of DO-178B/C
  • Understanding of ARP-4754
  • System requirement definition / testing
  • Verification test plan experience
  • ARINC 429 and signal debug capability
  • Testing and Integration on test benches in labs
  • Analytical skills & software development skills
  • System Verification and Validation

As a Systems Engr II here at Honeywell, you will design, implement, and manage complex systems, driving innovation, safety, and efficiency. Work on cutting-edge projects within cross-functional teams, shaping future technology and industry solutions. You will report directly to our Sr. Software Engineering Manager, and you’ll work out of our Phoenix, AZ location. This role is eligible for hybrid work mode, except for the first 90 days.

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in technical disciplines such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics.
  • 2 years of experience

  • Knowledge of software configuration and change management practices with DOORS NG and Atlassian tools
