Marketing Events Specialist
As a Marketing Events Specialist here at Honeywell, you will be at the forefront of creating impactful events that elevate our brand and engage our audience. Your responsibilities will include planning and executing a wide range of events, from product launches and trade shows to corporate gatherings and promotional campaigns. You will be able to connect event outcomes to strategy, clearly demonstrating value creation.
You will report directly to our Marketing Director, and you’ll work out of our Plymouth, MN location on a Hybrid work schedule.
In this role, you will impact the company by enhancing our brand image and driving marketing success through your ability to create engaging and memorable experiences. By effectively aligning events with our marketing goals, you'll strengthen customer relationships, drive brand recognition, and ultimately contribute to our marketing objectives.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Plan, organize, and execute business events, consisting of: trade shows, customer conferences, internal summits, and other marketing events
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop event strategies and objectives.
- Manage event budgets, including vendor negotiations and cost tracking
- Facilitate sourcing and funding of vendors to support events
- Manage event proceedings, including speakers, event content, schedules, attendee invites, and equipment/AV needs
- Collaborate with peers in the sales and marketing organizations to create novel ways to draw customer attraction to events

As a Vertical Marketing Event Specialist here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in driving demand generation through the development and execution of effective marketing strategies.
YOU MUST HAVE
- 5 plus years of experience in event management, preferably in a marketing or corporate environment.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines
- Proficiency in event management software and tools, demonstrating a strong understanding of marketing principles and strategies
- Experience in managing logistics, including venue selection and event setup.

COMPENSATION:
The Salary range for this position is $90K - $136K. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.
