Government Accounting and Compliance - Senior Financial Analyst
The Senior Financial Analyst provides Government Compliance and financial guidance to Honeywell Corporate and select US and foreign government contracting sites located within Honeywell Aerospace. This position is an excellent opportunity for growth in a Government oriented business. This individual will become a subject matter expert through experience with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Cost Accounting Standards (CAS), and other government agency and country supplemental regulations. Position to be filled in any existing Aerospace location, US location preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Support Corporate Government Accounting deliverables in an efficient and timely manner ensuring that deliverables are compliant and fully supported with proper documentation
- Support Corporate assignments including disclosure statement maintenance, general dollar magnitude proposals, transformation projects, etc.
- Manage large amounts of data from the ERP system (SAP) and effectively analyze the information in support of government compliance deliverables
- Collaborate with Corporate and Aerospace functional leads and with the business units to ensure that systems and procedures comply with government requirements.
- Prepare select US and foreign government contracting site forward pricing rate proposals, rate monitoring reports and incurred cost submissions; and perform variance analysis, data analytics and trending.
- Interface with DCAA (Defense Contract Audit Agency) and DCMA (Defense Contract Management Agency) regarding Corporate and US and foreign government contracting site deliverables
- Partner with business acting as a liaison to bridge US Government Compliance and regulatory requirements with foreign country specific laws and regulations. Work with site finance and functional personnel, enabling their success through solutions while balancing compliance requirements
- Support development of management operating system related to foreign government contracting sites including documentation of accounting practices and implementation of business system self-assessments.
- Supports cross functionally Government Accounting and Compliance matters, reinforcing awareness through training, preparing white papers and testing internal controls.
- Ongoing interaction and partnership with Honeywell Government Compliance team members

As a Sr Finance Analyst here at Honeywell, you will drive financial strategies, provide insightful guidance, and ensure operational excellence, directly impacting our growth, profitability, and long-term financial health. You will report directly to our Sr. Gov Compliance Fin Manager and you’ll work out of any of the 3 locations: Aguadilla, Puerto Rico, Phoenix, AZ, or Clearwater, Florida on a Hybrid, work schedule
YOU MUST HAVE
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting
- Strong SAP experience
- Strong personal computer skills with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc)
- Experience with FAR, CAS and U.S.Government Compliance

- CPA and/or Government Contract Accounting considered a plus (NCMA Federal Contract certification a plus)

The annual base salary or/ hourly pay range for this position is <$88k - $108k>. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline.
