As a member of a program team, the position assists integrated program team (IPT) in the development of program plans and the creation of program cost and schedule baselines. The position analyzes program performance in accordance with Earned Value Management (EVM) standards and prepares reports to internal and external customers. Actively participates in training programs such as planning systems, tools, and progresses through EVMS certification, cost and/or scheduling fundamental training. Applies standard processes and leverages standard tools in day-to-day practice. Works under the direction of managers, and establishes working relationships with peer groups, senior/lead analysts, and program team to achieve business objectives.

As a Program Controls Specialist I here at Honeywell, you will manage scheduling, cost management, risk assessment, and reporting, impacting the organization by overseeing various program and project management aspects.You will work out of our Mexicali, B.C. location on a Hybrid work schedule.

Competency: Support program baseline and execution, Establish & effectively communicate with integrate program team members, progresses through required training and applies standard practices and improvements

Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Finance, Accounting or related field.

0 - 2 years business related experience.


Develop program plans, ensure cost and schedule integration and EAC management on smaller less complex programs and/or as part of a larger team using effective time management skills. Basic knowledge and experience with program management processes (cost, schedule technical controls, baseline development, assigning-time phased resources & budgets to work scope, performance measurement, etc.). Interacts with IPT members to resolve day-to-day issues and complications. With guidance, may have contact with customers and/or agencies.
