As an Inspector Level 4 here at Honeywell, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and safety of our aerospace products and services. Your expertise will help maintain the highest standards of compliance and performance in our operations.

You work out of our Clearwater, Florida location on an On-site work schedule.

In this role, you will impact the overall quality assurance processes, ensuring that all aerospace products meet regulatory standards and customer expectations. Your work will contribute to the safety and reliability of our aerospace technologies, ultimately enhancing the customer experience.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • 1st shift 7:00am-2:30pm Monday - Friday
  • Conduct inspections and audits of aerospace products to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Prepare detailed inspection reports and documentation, highlighting any discrepancies and recommending corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve quality issues and implement continuous improvement initiatives.

All applicants for placement in DOT/FAA safety-sensitive positions will be required to submit to a pre-employment drug test, testing for Marijuana, Cocaine, Amphetamines (amphetamine, methamphetamine, MDMA, MDA), Phencyclidine (PCP), and Opioids (codeine, heroin, morphine, oxycodone, oxymorphone, hydrocodone, hydromorphone). The DOT/FAA regulations require all employees, regular and temporary, in safety-sensitive positions, to be included in the Honeywell Anti-drug and Alcohol Misuse Prevention Plan.

YOU MUST HAVE

  • 2+ years of experience in aerospace quality assurance or inspection.
  • Strong knowledge of aerospace regulations and quality standards.
  • Proficiency in inspection tools and techniques, including non-destructive testing methods.
  • Experience with quality management systems and documentation practices.
  • Familiarity with aerospace manufacturing processes and technologies.

WE VALUE

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in aerospace quality assurance or inspection.
  • Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Commitment to continuous improvement and quality excellence.
  • FAA background or certification is highly valued.
