- Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or Technical Diploma.
- 2 years in High Tech, electronic or instrumentation industry.
- Experience as Field Service Technician, Instrument technician, Field Service Engineer, Workshop technician.
- Experience with troubleshooting or fault finding down to a single component level, utilising proven techniques. Able to use a Digital volt meter (DVM Fluke) to measure voltage/resistance on AC/DC circuits. Excellent knowledge of PC skills including internal hardware, HDD, RAM PSU etc. mA Clamp meters, signal generators, loop tester. Windows /Linux software knowledge would be useful.
- Knowledge of 4-20mA signals, communication protocols, MODBUS,PROFIBUS, Internet Protocol, Digital comms RS485.
- Proficient in the use of hand tools and test instrumentation.
- Experience in working in a support role in any of the following business sectors, Oil and Gas, Semiconductor, Pharma, Waste or Clean Water, Automotive, Power, Energy, Facilities.
- Gas detection methods/principles would be advantageous to have.
- Excellent problem solving and trouble shooting skills essential.
- Strong PC skills.
- SAP/CRM experience is beneficial but not essential.
- Knowledge of gas detection preferable/beneficial.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- To achieve monthly, quarterly and annual financial targets for region.
- Responsible for diagnosing and analyzing causes of product failures and making recommendations for improvement.
- Support for agents and distributors
- Responsible for raising CDR’s(Customer Discrepancy Reports) on product failures and customer complaints.
- Identify and pass on sales/synergy leads.
- Work with and strengthen relationships with other Honeywell organizations
- Responsible for completing scheduled and unscheduled Field Service.
- Performing service & repairs to Honeywell and other manufacturers fixed and portable products.
- Provide detailed and accurate reporting on all site visits and projects.
- Complete all service orders through the CRM database system.
- Service and commissioning of field equipment.
- Responsible for maintaining, controlling and managing a personal stockroom
- Have direct interaction with customers to build relationships, establish communication and promote Honeywell Analytics products and services
- Provide Honeywell customers with product support & technical enquiries.
- Review, report and control warranty costs
- Provide all Honeywell internal customers and sales engineers with technical information and support.
- Ensure Honeywell HSE compliance
- Ensure Honeywell Code of Conduct compliance
- Actively participate in out of hours on call program.
- Assess and evaluate installation work in conjunction with sales team
