Job Description:

We are looking for a self-driven and motivated PLM & MBE Applications Specialist with 5 to 10 years of experience. The successful candidate will act as a liaison between business units and Enterprise IT to support and enhance engineering portfolios. The role requires a comprehensive understanding of BOM management, change management in Teamcenter, and proficiency in CAD applications and their integration with SAP systems. YOU MUST HAVE

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
• 5 to 10 years of experience in PLM & MBE applications and Have large scale IT implementation skills
• 5 Years of PLM Implementation experience with Teamcenter
• 5 Years of experience with Mechanical tools such as PTC-Creo, SolidWorks and Electrical CAD such as Mentor Graphics, Altium etc.. similar with focus on integration with Teamcenter PLM
• Expertise in BOM management, Product Configurator, change management in Teamcenter, and technical knowledge of Teamcenter Integration with CAD, SAP, PPM, EDW, ALM systems integrations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in conducting RCA.
• Proven ability to drive change processes and manage task prioritization using JIRA.
• Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with both technical and business stakeholders.
• Experience in training and documentation development to foster best practices.
• Demonstrated leadership in project management and proactive risk management

Key Responsibilities

• Act as a liaison between business and IT teams during strategy, planning and deployment of PLM applications including business transformation
• Serve as a primary interface between business units and enterprise IT to ensure effective communication and alignment of engineering portfolios with business objectives.
• Define Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and Model Based Enterprise (MBE) technologies roadmap for Building Automation Business, aligned with Global Design Model.
• Drive Digital Transformation and ensure adoption of Global Design Model (GDM) Engineering IT solutions across the Building Automation Business.
• Provide technical and functional expertise for Teamcenter and associated applications.
• Lead the Digital Thread initiative for end-to-end product development processes.
• Define and execute strategy to migrate engineering data from various PLM sources to Honeywell Standard PLM Platform.
• Plan and oversee Teamcenter & CAD upgrades for future platform readiness.
• Establish PLM platform for effective collaboration between Engineering Team and External Manufacturers & Suppliers.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications for IT teams.
• Possess deep knowledge of BOM management and change management within Teamcenter, ensuring efficient management of product lifecycles.
• Demonstrate technical know-how of Teamcenter, CAD applications, and integration with ERP systems like SAP.
• Analyze Workflow Logs and Audit Logs to provide actionable insights and guide the support team.
• Conduct RCA to identify issues and provide practical recommendations to optimize processes and system functionalities.
• Lead and drive Teamcenter Change Control Board (CCB) activities, manage communication of PLM & MBE changes, and prioritize JIRA stories.
• Maintain a dynamic backlog of tasks, and identify and escalate potential risks to leadership, developing timely mitigation plans.
• Deliver user training and develop, document, and implement best practices across the organization to enhance system efficiency.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and drive their implementation.
• Manage Teamcenter Product Configurator and effectively handle EBOM (Engineering Bill of Materials) and MBOM (Manufacturing Bill of Materials) management.
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies and trends in Industry 4.0, PLM, CAD, and MBE. Leverage AI & ML technologies for Productivity Improvement and Engineering Analytics
