The Network Business Operations Specialist will support the end to end operational lifecycle of the Global Network Infrastructure organization.
This role ensures smooth execution of network asset lifecycle processes, procurement and PO management, telecom expense oversight, and operational governance across tools and systems.
The specialist will work closely with engineering, sourcing, finance, and external vendors to maintain accuracy, compliance, and operational readiness of network services.

Required Qualifications
• 3–5 years of experience in network operations, IT asset management, procurement operations, or telecom expense management.
• Familiarity with ITSM/CMDB systems (ServiceNow preferred).
• Strong understanding of network infrastructure hardware (routers, switches, wireless, firewalls).
• Experience working with telecom carriers and circuit ordering workflows.
• Proficiency with Excel, SharePoint, and operational dashboards.
• Exceptional attention to detail, ownership, and process discipline.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with network tooling platforms (Cisco DNA Center, Infoblox, vManage, SolarWinds).
• Knowledge of lifecycle management standards and compliance/audit requirements.
• Procurement or TEM platform experience (e.g., Sakon, Lightyear, Granite).
• Ability to manage complex operational dependencies across global teams.
Soft Skills
• Strong communication and cross functional collaboration.
• Ability to manage multiple operational workflows simultaneously.
• Proactive issue identification and structured problem solving.
• Comfort working in fast paced, globally distributed environments.

Asset Lifecycle Management
• Maintain accurate inventory of network assets across CMDB and supporting systems (e.g., DNA Center, Infoblox, vManage, Rapid7, SolarWinds).
• Track asset lifecycle milestones including procurement, deployment, maintenance, refresh, and end of support transitions.
• Coordinate with engineering teams to ensure compliance with lifecycle standards, asset models, and audit ready documentation.
• Support gap analysis for asset data quality, remediation plans, and dashboards.
Procurement & PO Processing
• Initiate and track purchase requisitions (PRs) and purchase orders (POs) for network hardware, circuits, tools, and services.
• Partner with sourcing and vendors to obtain quotes, validate requirements, and ensure accurate coding to appropriate cost centers.
• Monitor order workflow from quoting through delivery and receipt, escalating blockers where needed.
• Maintain procurement trackers, BOMs, and approval workflows to ensure financial and operational alignment.
Telecom Expense Management (TEM)
• Maintain telecom inventory and associated services across providers.
• Support invoice validation, dispute resolution, and vendor charge accuracy.
• Track provisioning, cancellation, and modifications for circuits or telecom services to avoid unnecessary spend.
• Collaborate with finance on budgeting, forecasting, and reporting for telecom costs.
Operational Support
• Maintain documentation related to processes, work instructions, and operational standards.
• Support KPI reporting across asset lifecycle, procurement, and telecom management metrics.
• Participate in cross functional operational reviews and network planning cycles.
• Serve as a liaison between engineering teams, sourcing, finance, and tooling teams.
