As the Advanced Field Service Engineer for HBOC (Honeywell Buildings Operations Centre) team in Honeywell, you will be responsible for the operation, maintenance and optimization of multiple BMS, Security, Fire & Cyber/ICT systems across contracted facilities within Australia and New Zealand. You will report directly to Director – Pacific Connected Services, and you’ll work on hybrid schedule at either North Ryde, New South Wales or Abbottsford, Victoria locations.

As a Field Service Engineer at Honeywell, you will provide advanced technical support in Industrial Automation, troubleshoot complex issues, ensure solution implementation, and drive customer satisfaction.
  • Qualification or equivalent in technical discipline (Automation, Instrumentation, Electronic, Electrical or Mechatronics Engineering) and a minimum of 5 years of related experience
  • Expert in operating and maintaining Honeywell systems – EBI, DVM, Niagara Supervisor and associated BMS and Security hardware.
  • Ability to diagnose ICT,Network and Cyber Security issues with the help of right tools/applications.
  • Certification as Energy Auditor or relevant experience
  • Ability to obtain baseline clearance and as such will only consider Australian Citizens

  • Perform remote and/or on-site energy audits, cyber/ICT audits to recommend savings and risk mitigation strategies with end customers
  • Preventative maintenance checks on Honeywell and occasionally non-Honeywell systems
  • Implement ongoing maintenance using Honeywell Tools and processes, provide input for constant improvement of processes
  • Comprehensive customer reporting on building performance insights, upgrades, recommendations to help improve both service and customer teams efficiency and bottom line
  • Occasional site visits in order to perform asset/equipment, energy and cyber/ICT checks
