Quality Control Inspector
We have an opportunity for a Quality Control Inspector to join our Honeywell Eastbourne, East Sussex, United Kingdom. To drive improvements in the quality management system (QMS), processes and procedures with primary attention to the manufacturing, purchasing, continuous improvement and other functions as required.
Quality Inspector will support production in all areas of the process from start to finish, including overseeing goods in and dispatch (as required). The Quality Inspector will promote a culture that focuses on the cost of conformance, continuous improvement and a risk management approach; identify Key Process/Product Characteristics (KPC) for both internal and external supply thus ensuring quality assurance throughout the manufacturing process.

We have approx. 112 employees across a variety of functions including engineering, project management, procurement, manufacturing as well as other support function. Key Responsibilities
- In-process and Final inspection of product as defined by the QMS. Adherence to Quality and Inspection test plans
- Review the shop floor processes to ensure accuracy and effectiveness. Create recommendations and ensure corrective actions are adhered to.
- Production Process Improvement – Constant review and improvement to ensure effective and efficient process. Recommend, innovate and implement revised methods and processes.
- Product Marking – Improve and maintain data, accuracy, and quality. Quality Verification and validation of Documentation – Take responsibility to ensure testing and verification documentation are always up to date .
- Promote relentless continuous improvement through the ability to impart a quality ethic throughout the business.
- To be able to evaluate data and use the correct tools to identify the value added relentless continues improvement activities.
- Working with the Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE) to establish quality requirements. Any other reasonable task the manager may deem as suitable for the role.
Must Have Skills
- Have a good understanding of ISO9001:2015
- Be cognizant and knowledgeable of quality standards and models
- Have a good understanding of NDE processes
- Have a good understanding of ASME codes (Desired)
- Trained auditor (Desired)
- Be an excellent communicator
- Have good supervisory capabilities
