KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Server lifecycle management encompasses the comprehensive process of managing a server's journey from deployment to its eventual retirement, encompassing all stages of its operational life.

Key Responsibilities:

1. CMDB Data Stewardship – You need to have a solid understanding of the ServiceNow Configuration Management Database. You will be required to maintain, troubleshoot and provide limited technical support to issues and workflows.
2. Server Decommissioning – You will be required to have basic Windows, Linux and VMWare understanding to assist with the decommissioning of servers. This is an essential part of ensuring a clean and pristine CMDB.
3. Technical Debt - You must be proficient in Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Visualizing burndowns and roadmap to Leadership on a frequent basis.
4. Analyze and interpret data from the SNOW CMDB to provide actionable insights for IT service management.
5. Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to monitor CMDB health and performance metrics.
6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy and completeness within the CMDB.
