This role will focus on developing and implementing a shared services vision, strategy and framework, including establishing shared service governance standards, assessing and optimizing processes, managing legal operations, and ensuring the successful deployment of a shared services model for the legal function. The successful candidate will provide strategic leadership, partner across the entire legal function , provide thought leadership and direction and collaborate with various stakeholders to enhance operational excellence, including implementing the shared services governance framework and KPIs.

The Sr Director of Legal Shared Services Excellence will lead all aspects of the newly created Shared Services function within the Legal Department
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in law, business administration, or a related field
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with a focus on collaboration and professional development.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities; proficiency in data analysis and reporting.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
Preferred Qualifications
- 10 plus years in business operations, shared services or a related field
- Proven track record of developing, implementing and leading and optimizing operational efficiency and effectiveness.
- Strong understanding of legal processes, technology, and best practices in legal operations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic initiatives for shared services within the Legal Department to enhance efficiency and effectiveness, including establishing shared services framework and governance within the function and with stakeholders.
- Develop a comprehensive KPI and metric framework for Shared Services, inclusive of tracking, management, reporting, and analysis. Utilize tools such as dashboards, Power BI, and Tableau to enhance these processes. Streamline legal processes, workflows, and systems to optimize automated solutions, resource allocation and minimize redundancy.
- Act as a liaison between legal teams and internal departments to ensure alignment with organizational goals and compliance with legal, process, and business requirements and objectives.
- Evaluate the application of legal technology and tools, ensuring they meet the department's needs and enhance service delivery.
- Develop, monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to both assess the effectiveness of shared services, drive continuous improvement ensuring the model delivers to the agreed upon service level agreement levels (SLAs)
- Collaborate with external partners and vendors to ensure the seamless delivery of legal services and support.
- Provide training and support to legal staff on shared services processes and best practices.
- Stay current with legal trends and innovations in legal operations to drive best practices within the department.
- Drive accountability and transparency through transparent cost modeling that is visible and measurable.
- Ensure that all services are delivered in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements and maintain robust governance.
