Staying up-to-updated with industry trends and regulations related to product certification will be crucial in this role. Additionally, you will provide technical guidance and support to the team.

You will report directly to our Sr. Supervisor Certification, and you will work at our site in Mexico City location on a Hybrid work schedule.
In this role, you will impact Honeywell by ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, maintaining product quality, reducing time-to-market, mitigating risks, fostering collaboration, and driving continuous improvement in the certification process.

As an Advanced Certification Engineer here at Honeywell, you will play a key role in leading the certification process for our Building Management System electronic products, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. You will develop and implement certification strategies and plans, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful certification. #LI-Hybrid

YOU MUST HAVE
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Software, Electrical/Electronic, Mechatronics, etc..)
• 5+ years of experience in leading certification process.
• Proficiency in electronic product knowledge. Advance knowledge in New Product Development for electronic devices and its certification process.
• Desirable (not mandatory) background knowledge in FMCG Electronics, Development and Certification.
• Fluent English proficiency.

WE VALUE
• Knowledge in firmware, hardware, and software development.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Strong knowledge of industry standards and regulations applicable for Building Automation (Fire, Building Management System and Security).


• Lead the certification process for electronic products, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Develop and implement certification strategies and plans in New Product Introduction projects.
• E2E accountability in the certification process, including but not limited to, managing stakeholders, regulatory agencies review, and review with peers.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful certification of products.
• Stay updated with industry trends and regulations related to product certification and implement any changes if applicable anticipated.
• Provide technical guidance and support to Engineering Design Team.
