As a Sr Field Service Technician here at Honeywell, you will have the opportunity to provide high-level technical support and service to our customers, ensuring the optimal performance of Honeywell products and systems. You will troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, perform maintenance and repairs, and provide training and guidance to customers and junior technicians. You will report directly to our Field Service Supervisor, and you’ll work out of our Dallas, TX location on a Remote work schedule.

As a Sr. Field Service Technician at Honeywell, you will provide high-level technical support to customers by troubleshooting complex issues, performing maintenance and repairs, and delivering training and guidance to both customers and junior technicians to ensure optimal system performance. You will report directly to the Field Service Supervisor and work on a remote schedule based out of Dallas, TX, playing a key role in driving customer satisfaction and operational efficiency while upholding the highest standards across field service operations.

YOU MUST HAVE

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of 3 years of proven experience as a field service technician, with a focus on fire protection systems.
  • Texas FAL-Card (Fire Protection) Certification or able to obtain within 30 days.
  • Valid Driver’s License required to travel within the jobsite
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Participate in Field Service team activities to ensure efficient and effective service delivery, predominantly on overnight schedules
  • Perform periodic tests and inspections on fire alarm systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve faults in fire alarm components in the field
  • Understanding of Codes & Standards: Knowledge of fire safety regulations that govern system performance and compliance as
  • Documentation & Reporting: Maintain detailed records of inspections, tests, configurations, and service actions.
  • Comply with all procedures and Honeywell processes, including monthly HSE reporting and timely submission of timesheets
