You will report directly to our Indirect Sourcing Operational Excellence Director and you’ll work out of our Phoenix, AZ or Charlotte, NC location on a Hybrid work schedule. Note: New Hires will work onsite Monday-Friday for the first 90 days
In this role, you will impact the overall effectiveness of our indirect sourcing operations, ensuring that processes are streamlined, costs are minimized, and quality standards are met. Your contributions will be essential in fostering a culture of operational excellence and driving strategic initiatives across the organization.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and implement operational excellence strategies within the indirect sourcing function, focusing on process optimization and efficiency.
- Analyze sourcing performance metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement, collaborating with stakeholders to drive initiatives.
- Lead cross-functional teams in continuous improvement projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.

As an Indirect Sourcing Operational Excellence Specialist here at Honeywell, you will be a pivotal leader in steering the success of our supply chain initiatives. With your extensive, hands-on experience in supply chain project management, you will lead end-to-end projects, meticulously overseeing planning, execution, and monitoring phases to ensure seamless project delivery.
YOU MUST HAVE
- 8 years of experience in operational excellence or related field.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and drive actionable insights.
- Proficiency in process improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma.
- Experience with sourcing and procurement processes, including supplier management and contract negotiation.
- Familiarity with relevant tools and technologies for data analysis and project management. (i.e. Power BI, SAP, Python)
WE VALUE
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in sourcing or procurement roles.
- Ability to influence stakeholders and drive change across the organization.
- Strong project management skills with a track record of successful project delivery.
- Knowledge of industry best practices in sourcing and operational excellence.
