You will report directly to our Manufacturing Engineering Manager and you will work out of our Mexicali location.

In this role, you will make an impact by supporting manufacturing processes, process improvements, and compliance with safety regulations. Your contributions will drive increased efficiency, reduced costs, and improved product quality in our manufacturing operations and will be essential in securing present and future business by consistently meeting or exceeding product cost and customer requirements.

As a Manufacturing Engineer Intern here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in optimizing manufacturing operations and driving operational excellence. You will support Manufacturing Engineers in developing and implementing efficient manufacturing processes, driving process improvements, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the efficient and cost-effective production of our products. Your contributions will directly impact our organization's financial performance and solidify our position as a leader in the industry.

• Bachelor’s degree students from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics

• Bachelor’s degree students in Mechanical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Cybernetics, or a related field from an accredited institution
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Fluent in English: Conversational, Read and Write
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• CAD systems proficiency
• Basic knowledge of automation, control, and PLC principles
• Programming and User Interface design preferred
• Basic knowledge of Six Sigma, Lean principles and other continuous improvement methodologies
• Experience with MRP systems (SAP)
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Decision making, Analytical and problem-solving skills
