Job Description:

1. Design, plan, and develop technical and engineering specifications and integration specifications for smart city projects.
2. Responsible for developing, implementing and debugging integrations to endpoints, sensors and subsystems.
3. Determining that the outcome of the integration has met the organization’s needs
4. Educating the organization and clients about the system and integration procedure, its implementation and its use.
5. Handling a broad range of software and other programming tasks to ensure that their systems integrations are functional.
6. Defining integration strategies and methods and then planning them in accordance with established deadlines and time schedules
7. Creating and providing technical documentation that explains upcoming or existing integrations to non-technical individuals

Job Requirements:

1. Complex and versatile programming knowledge for different languages and hardware uses including HTTP, MQTT, MODBUS, BACNET, etc.
2. A strong knowledge of how to interpret organizational, software and hardware implementation blueprints and technical documents
3. Excellent communications skills for explaining complex implementation processes to non-experts and to clients and organization members
4. A firm knowledge of the smart cities industry including various applications like BMS, CCTV, IOT, etc.
5. A strong understanding of ICT system deployment and usage policies
6. A capacity for working with minimal supervision in complex projects with considerable responsibility
