ABOUT THE JOB

The Senior Business Consultant is the primary consultant, the solution expert, and the industry expert during the pre-sales and design phase of the sales process. Working closely with the customer, the Senior Business Consultant will identify business opportunities and propose solutions of value. This position is responsible for defining and documenting the proposed Honeywell Voice system application(s) Process design, analysis and /or proposing the new processes; and is also accountable to schedule and document the detailed knowledge transfer to the Honeywell Voice Implementation Project Manager of the system that is integrated into the customer’s environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide consultative recommendations as well as integration and application design input to the prospect or customer. This includes presenting sales demonstrations with a focus on proactive promotion of business case solutions.
  • Prepare and validate “Return on Investment” analyses for each project pre-sales and post implementation.
  • Participate in joint sales calls with the members of the Honeywell Voice sales team for the purpose of providing both operational and technical support.
  • Assistwith training partners to increase their ability to sell, implement, and support Honeywell Voice solutions.
  • Interact with and inquires business needs from various customer representatives ranging from executives, senior operations management, IT representatives, warehouse operations management, and end-users throughout the pre-sales process.
  • Document the initial system design and application requirements during the presales process
  • Responsible for complex, in-depth technical support and product assistance in the selection portion of the sales process.
  • Provide internal Product Development group with customer feedback for the improvement of existing products and the development of future products.

WE VALUE

  • Must possess a college degree or equivalent work experience, an above average knowledge level of supply chain distribution logistics.
  • Minimum of five years of on-site customer support experience including experience managing multiple, complex projects from start to completion; and minimum of 5 years in pre-sales support roles and situations related to sales demonstrations, sales meetings, and customer negotiations.
  • Demonstrated success in applying various solutions within differing environments.
  • Working knowledge of TCP/IP, FTP, DHCP, Telnet, routing, client/server computing and knowledge of Android OS and MDM as well as general networking concepts, protocols, and related diagnostic and troubleshooting tools.
  • Proven ability to manage projects and to prioritize workloads in a dynamic and progressive work environment.
  • Professional written, verbal and presentation skills in English, ability to effectively interact with all levels of the customer’s environment. Dutch language would be an advantage.
  • Ability and willingness to travel overnight approximately 40% to 60% on an annualized basis.
