Honeywell Aerospace is seeking a Senior Advanced Project Engineer to serve as a technical team leader. In this pivotal role, you will assess and drive the achievement of program-specific performance across multiple parallel projects.


You will collaborate closely with customers of the Anthem products, including Project Engineers from various groups and Program Managers. Your responsibilities will include partnering with technical resource managers to assist with staffing and acting as the primary point of contact for program cost, schedule, and technical issue coordination and escalation.


LOCATION: Phoenix, AZ

You will take the lead in prioritizing work packages, setting design goals, and defining objectives, all while driving overall program performance. In addition to coordinating Engineering Technical Services (ETS) efforts, you will work in conjunction with other Center-of-Excellence Engineering teams, which include diverse System, Software, Electrical, Mechanical, and FPGA/ASIC teams, ensuring seamless integration and coordination on customer programs.

YOU MUST HAVE:
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics
• 7+ years of experience in project management and engineering coordination

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, asylum or refugee status in the U.S, or have the ability to obtain an export authorization.

• Proven experience in Core or Product Line management, effectively servicing multiple asynchronous customers through a common core product line.

• Proficiency in influencing stakeholders to embrace new concepts and practices, fostering a culture of innovation.
• Significant experience in project planning and coordination, with a deep understanding of Platform Hardware/Software processes and practices.
• Familiarity with Agile Engineering development methodologies and tools, promoting adaptive planning and iterative progress.
• Knowledge of Space and Defense project management principles and secure practices, ensuring compliance and risk mitigation.
