As a Sr. Production Planner here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for planning and coordinating all aspects of kit fabrication and welding processes to ensure timely and efficient production. Your role is crucial in optimizing workflows, managing resources, and ensuring quality standards are met throughout the fabrication process.
You will report directly to our Production Scheduling Manager and you’ll work out of our Arvada, CO location.
In this role, you will impact the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the production process, ensuring that all kits are fabricated and welded according to specifications and deadlines. Your expertise will help streamline operations, reduce waste, and improve product quality, ultimately contributing to customer satisfaction and business success.

YOU MUST HAVE
- Minimum 5 years of experience in fabrication and welding planning or related planning roles.
- Minimum 5 years of experience with production scheduling and resource management.
WE VALUE
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
- Certification in CPIM or APICS.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment with a focus on welding and fabrication.
- Proficiency in using planning and scheduling software tools.
- Strong knowledge of welding processes, materials, and fabrication techniques.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

The salary range for this position is $75k - $100k. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and maintain detailed fabrication plans and schedules for welding projects.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to understand project specifications and requirements.
- Review blueprints and technical drawings to determine material needs and welding techniques.
- Coordinate with procurement to ensure timely availability of materials and components.
- Monitor the progress of fabrication and welding activities to ensure adherence to timelines.
- Implement quality control measures to ensure finished products meet industry standards and client expectations.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a safe working environment.
- Maintain accurate records of completed work, materials used, and labor hours for tracking and analysis.
- Communicate with project stakeholders regarding progress updates and any potential issues.
- Troubleshoot problems that arise during the fabrication and welding process.
- Optimize fabrication processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Collaborate with quality assurance teams to conduct inspections and tests on fabricated components.
