We have an opportunity for a Lead Project Management & PMO to join us at Honeywell in Bucharest, Romania. This is a hybrid role, 3 days at the office and 2 days work from home model.

Key responsibilities
- Project Planning and Execution:
- Develop Strategy & Business case to support pipeline conversion in actual projects
- This will require extensive knowledge about Supply chain, cost analysis, capacity management at the sites, direct and indirect labor, cost conversion, ISC metrics: OTTR, OTFP, DOS, etc. and alignment with BA Strategy
- Lead project planning sessions to define project scope, objectives, stakeholders, and deliverables for all different project types in the portfolio (People, Infrastructure, Insourcing, DC, ISC)
- Develop project timelines, milestones, and resource allocation plans and detailed integration
- Monitor project progress and implement corrective actions as necessary.
- Drive actions and hold functions accountable for their assigned task
- Manage project financials (incl. Capex)
- Work closely with HR & Comms leaders to effectively manage project comms;
- Work closely with supporting functions during the conversion process as well as during the project execution (IT, AME, Engineering, Sourcing, Logistics, Supply Chain, etc)
- Note: this role has regular reporting to senior executives: regional and global.
- Note: Honeywell is a matrix organization - multiple alignments are required vertically as well as horizontally.
- Develop Strategy & Business case to support pipeline conversion in actual projects
- PMO Governance:
- Ensure data integrity in Master File & HRP
- Provide relevant updates to line managers, senior leaders and functional leaders.
- Stakeholder Management:
- Communicate effectively with all stakeholders, including team members, clients, and regional business & functional leaders
- Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders to enhance collaboration and project success.
- Excellent presentation skills
- Risk Management - People Projects:
- Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and adjust project plans accordingly.
- Business& Financials Acumen
- P&L knowledge
- Key Business metrics
- Microsoft PPT and Excel skills over average
Key skills and qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
- Relevant Project Management experience, hands-on experience in various fields, and project types
- Minimum of 7 years of project management experience, preferably with exposure to Industrial industry
- Solid knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and frameworks.
- Above average leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills and ability to adapt to new requests;
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Finance Acumen a Big Plus
- S4 certification nice to-have
- SAP Hands-on experience is a must
