As a Sr Advanced Systems Engr within the Next Generation Avionics (NGA) group, you will join team designing, developing, and delivering advanced Avionics solutions for our next-generation Integrated Flight Deck System, that is breaking new ground in Avionics design and pilot-machine interface. You will report directly to our Sr Engineering Manager, working out of our Phoenix, AZ location on a Hybrid work schedule.

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics

  • 6 years of experience supporting Aerospace programs

  • Knowledge of Aerospace development for systems, software and V&V

As a Sr. Advanced Systems Engineer within our Next Generation Avionics (NGA) group, you will play a critical role in the design, implementation, and management of complex Fight Display Systems and advanced Avionics solutions. Our Next Generation Avionics (NGA) group is at the forefront of developing innovative solutions that enhance the situational awareness and decision-making capabilities of pilots. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams on cutting-edge projects that transform the way aircrafts operate.

As a flagship product, the Anthem Integrated Flight Deck System is not just another avionics product; it is a visionary endeavor that employs cutting-edge technologies to redefine how pilots interact with flight information and aircraft systems. Your experience in systems engineering will be instrumental in shaping the future of aerospace technology.

In this role, you will help drive the development, systems integration, and verification of core Flight Displays Applications to be hosted on the Next Generation Avionics Platform.

  • Acts as a technical expert in their realm of function for internal and external customers
  • Presents project and/or program status to Anthem Avionics leaders, ensuring transparency and engagement.
  • Ensures internal processes and procedures align with Aerospace and Honeywell Standards
  • Interfaces with teams to address and resolve project/program issues with creativity and insight.
  • Influence fellow engineers to accept new concepts, practices, and approaches
