This dynamic position is a key member of our Quality team and will be responsible for Quality Engineering and Continuous Improvement activities relating to suppliers, internal processes, and customers. This position will have responsibility to drive strategic corrective / preventative action projects as well as Strategic Quality Plan initiatives

YOU MUST HAVE:

  • Minimum of 5+ years’ experience in direct Supplier Quality Engineering
  • 3+ years’ experience in a fast-pace manufacturing environment
  • 2+ years experience operating under a 3rd party certified Quality Management System i.e. AS9100/ISO9001

The annual base salary or/ hourly pay range for this position is $108,000 - $135,000. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to the procurement and engineering teams on quality requirements
  • Analyze supply chain risks to enact proactive risk management initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with internal and external quality standards from Honeywell and its customers
  • Own and conduct supplier audits to assess supplier capabilities and identify areas for improvement
  • Drive supplier root cause analysis and corrective actions to address quality issues and prevent recurrence
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive supplier performance improvement and resolve quality issues
  • Monitor supplier quality metrics to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
  • Build a strong relationship with suppliers, engineering, and operations.
  • Compile reporting data to provide an overhaul scorecard of quarterly metrics for presentation to Sr. Leadership.
  • Ensures activities and items are in compliance with Honeywell quality assurance standards applicable government regulations and customers’ requirements.
  • Proactively reviews suppliers, assess operational gaps to identify risks and takes systematic actions to develop a world class supplier.
  • Performs internal audits of processes and functions to assure continued compliance to international standards, requirements, and applicable government regulations.
  • Leads and facilitates multi-disciplined RCCA and problem-solving teams.
