We are currently seeking a Cyber Security Architect / Engineer to join our team in Jurong office. You will work alongside System Architects, Developers and members of the Engineering teams to provide software solutions revolving around Honeywell products and services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategize with members of the Global COE and Product teams to develop and standardize new solutions and software-enabled services, with a primary focus on scalability, security, performance and integration.
- Participate in designing new features, together with their specific verification and validation routines, in accordance with the requirements stated by the Business. Act as the Subject matter expert (SME) for various standardized security controls implemented in operational technology environments.
- Generate clear, understandable component designs, documentation, and deployment guides.
- Support system test activities through the development life cycle.
- Develop sound and trusted relationships with internal Customers by providing accurate and efficient technical/engineering support. Interact with other developers and assist in resolving technical issues during project lifecycle.
- Stay up to date with technology. Adapt and quickly advance your technical skill sets.
MUST HAVE:
- Bachelor’s degree in a computer related field such as Computer Science, Computer information systems, electronics. 1 years of direct related experience.
- Understanding of networking fundamentals, including network hardware, systems, protocols, and network management applications and tools.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity solutions, practical aspects of defense-in-depth and endpoint & network-oriented security controls.
- Strong diagnostic and analytical skills including problem solving, troubleshooting, management of priorities. Self-direction to translate business issues / requirements and objectives into technical solutions.
- Technical proficiency in one or more of the following security areas: network design, zero trust, endpoint security, cybersecurity risk management, vulnerability management etc.
- Effective written and verbal skill to enable strong communication capabilities.
WE VALUE:
- Ability to write / craft clear, understandable documentation that translates complicated technical processes to a target audience.
- Knowledge of cyber security threats, vulnerabilities, hacking and exploit methods etc.
- Familiarity with one or more of these scripting languages: PowerShell, Python.
- Familiarity with OT technologies & Process Control Systems design and Industrial standards (ISA/IEC 62443, ISO 27001& NIST).
