Professional Services Lead — SaaS (Track & Trace / Digital Product Passport)

Lead and scale the Professional Services practice for our SaaS Track & Trace and Digital Product Passport offerings. Manage a blended team of internal consultants and external contractors, own the services P&L, and drive delivery of new products while migrating private‑cloud and legacy customers to the latest SaaS platform.

Responsibilities :

  • Product Delivery: Lead delivery of new Track & Trace and Digital Product Passport implementations, ensuring successful, repeatable launches from pilot to production.
  • Customer Migrations: Own migration programs converting private‑cloud and legacy-version customers to the new SaaS platform, minimizing disruption and maximizing retention.
  • Team Leadership: Recruit, mentor, allocate, and evaluate a multidisciplinary team of internal staff and external contractors to execute implementations, integrations, and migrations.
  • P&L Ownership: Manage services revenue forecasting, pricing strategy, margin optimization, expense control, and monthly/quarterly financial reporting.
  • Program & Project Management: Define and enforce delivery methodologies; create and maintain SOWs, migration plans, resource schedules, risk logs, and playbooks to ensure on-time, on-budget outcomes.
  • Client Engagement: Serve as senior client-facing lead for strategic accounts and escalations; act as trusted advisor on solution design, migration strategy, and rollout sequencing.
  • Operational Scaling: Implement scalable processes, staffing models, tooling (PSA, time capture, billing workflows), and KPIs to improve utilization, realization, and cycle times.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with Product, Sales, Customer Success, and Engineering to align product roadmaps, migration prioritization, scoping/pricing, and feedback loops.
  • Vendor & Contractor Management: Select, contract, and manage external partners; set SLAs, monitor performance, and optimize vendor mix for migration and delivery work.
  • Quality & Compliance: Ensure delivery quality, contractual compliance, accurate invoicing, and timely revenue recognition.
  • Reporting & Metrics: Track and report utilization, backlog, project margin, on-time delivery, migration success rates, CSAT, and other operational and financial KPIs.

Required Qualifications :

  • 7+ years in professional services, implementations, or consulting within SaaS, with 3+ years managing teams and external vendors.
  • Direct experience delivering Track & Trace, digital product passport, supply‑chain, or related enterprise SaaS products, or equivalent domain experience.
  • Demonstrated P&L responsibility for a services line or equivalent financial ownership.
  • Strong program/project management skills (Agile, Kanban, Scrum, PMI) and experience producing SOWs and migration plans.
  • Experience implementing PSA/CRM/financial tools and scalable delivery processes.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications :

  • Certifications: PMP, CSM/CSPO, or similar.
  • Familiarity with integration patterns for Track & Trace (GS1, EPCIS), serialization, and product passport standards.
  • Experience with tools such as Salesforce, Jira, NetSuite/Zuora, or PSA platforms.
  • MBA or advanced degree.

Success Criteria :

  • Successful delivery and commercial launch of new Track & Trace and Digital Product Passport implementations.
  • High migration conversion rate of private‑cloud and legacy customers to SaaS with minimal churn.
  • Achievement of services revenue, margin, and utilization targets.
  • Improved CSAT/NPS for services engagements and reduced time‑to‑deploy.
  • Repeatable migration playbooks and scalable resourcing model established.
