YOU MUST HAVE:

  • Qualified applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree* or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, and 8 years of Network Infrastructure experience.
  • Must have 6 years of experience with the following: experience of Managing the Delivery of Network project; in-Depth Switching and Routing Knowledge – BGP, OSPF, VxLAN, EVPN; in-Depth NSX-T Knowledge; Loadbalancers Operations experience; proficiency in Enterprise Architecture framework, principles, and tools; experience managing relationships with vendors.
  • Must have 3 years of experience with the following: leadership and management.
  • Telecommuting is permitted up to 2 times per week.
  • *Employer will accept 2 years of experience in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree.
  • Up to 20% domestic and international travel required.

Sr IT Supervisor for Honeywell International, Inc. (Charlotte, NC)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop Next-Generation architecture SDWAN, Extranet, Wireless, Campus Switching, Backbone Routing.
  • Work closely with Operational Architects to accelerate new technology and design pattern validations.
  • Functional SDWAN, Campus, Wireless, Global Core Backbone for the EA (enterprise Architecture) organization.
  • Develop technical strategies to transform SDWAN, Wireless, Campus Switching, Datacenter Micro segmentation.
  • Work closely with MADS Leadership to accelerate M&A, Divest, Spinco related Network Deliverables.
  • Collaborate closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to modernize Networks.
  • Closely work with factory/operational technology teams to understand the end-to-end operational workflow and help designing standard network architecture.
  • Team Leadership and Management.
  • Hiring, training, supervising DC Netops Personnel.
  • Goals and Performance Management.
  • Capex, Opex Budget Management and Cost Optimization.
  • Infrastructure Project Planning, Execution and Delivery.
