As a Senior Director of Software Engineering here at Honeywell, you will play a critical role in leading and managing the software engineering function within the company.
YOU MUST HAVE
- 20 plus years of experience in engineering and technology leadership.
- Proven success in IoT, mobile, and AI-driven product development.
- Expertise in multi-cloud architecture, infrastructure management, and SRE practices.
- Strong knowledge of Agile, DevOps, and scalable architectures.
- Demonstrated ability to lead large global engineering organizations.
- Deep understanding of data privacy, security compliance, and risk management.
- Exceptional executive-level communication and collaboration skills.
WE VALUE
- Bachelor’s degree or Advanced degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or another related field.
- 8 plus years of experience in engineering leadership roles.

Key Responsibilities
- Cloud & Infrastructure Strategy: Deep knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), hybrid architectures, and infrastructure management with a focus on cost optimization, scalability, and resilience.
- Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), DevOps, MLOps: Proven experience implementing SRE principles to ensure system reliability, availability, and performance at scale.
- Enterprise Architecture & Integration: Skilled in designing integrated systems using APIs, event-driven architectures, and data pipelines for seamless interoperability.
- Data & Analytics Enablement: Expertise in big data platforms, data governance, and AI/ML integration to drive data-driven decision-making across engineering and product.
- Product & Customer-Centric Thinking: Aligns technical priorities with customer needs and understands the business impact of engineering decisions.
- Financial & Budget Management: Skilled in managing engineering budgets, forecasting, and ROI analysis while balancing innovation with cost efficiency.
- Organizational Design & Scaling: Experience in structuring teams for growth, global delivery, and distributed workforces; implements frameworks for career progression and succession planning.
- Executive Influence & Thought Leadership: Communicates vision and technical strategy effectively; represents engineering at board-level discussions and industry forums.
