Sr Procurement Buyer ________________________________________ As a Sr Procurement Buyer here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for managing and executing the organization's procurement and purchasing activities at a strategic level. This position plays a pivotal part in ensuring efficient procurement processes, cost-effectiveness, and strategic alignment within the procurement function. You will report directly to our Procurement Manager and you’ll work out of our Monterrey location on a hybrid work schedule.

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Extensive experience in procurement and project management.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing complex procurement projects.
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of procurement strategies, strategic sourcing, and supplier relationship management.
  • English Advance

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive procurement strategy that aligns with the organization's goals, ensuring cost-effectiveness, quality, and supplier diversity.
  • Oversee and manage complex procurement projects from initiation to completion, including supplier selection, negotiations, contract management, and delivery, ensuring project goals are met within scope, budget, and timeline.
  • Provide guidance to a team of procurement professionals, ensuring the successful execution of procurement projects.
  • Place Purchase Orders.
  • Confirm Purchase Orders along with vendors through strength communication.
  • Fix Purchase Orders whenever is needed according to Project needs.
  • Invoice Resolution.
  • Past Due Purchase Orders clarification and material delivery completion.
  • Expedite material delivery according to Project demand.
  • Purchase Orders management by pulling in/ push out activities according to Project updates.
  • Supplier’s constraints resolution whenever needed to satisfy Project needs.
  • Attending Engineering meetings to be on track of the Project needs.
  • Hold meeting with vendors to review material delivery plans and solutions to satisfy Project’s demand according to timeline.
  • Provide expertise in SAP, supporting teams with system guidance and improvements.
  • Communicate project updates effectively, ensuring clarity for stakeholders.
