As a Digital IC Engineer (Advanced Semiconductor Engineer) here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for designing FPGA-based solutions using VHDL. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define FPGA hardware requirements, coding, running simulations, synthesis and implementation for FPGA designs, and perform not formal verification activities. Collaborate to define test setup for the test on target, review test procedure and test bench, analysis report generated by the FPGA V&V team. Your role will also involve troubleshooting and debugging hardware, as well as providing technical support to internal and external stakeholders. In this role, you will impact the development of cutting-edge FPGA solutions. You will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products, as well as driving innovation and continuous improvement.

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in FPGA/VHDL design and verification with strong knowledge of VHDL and FPGA design methodologies
  • Excellent knowledge of the development flow and the main CAD environments for FPGA design (design entry, synthesis, place and route) as well as digital simulation tools
  • Knowledge of the main communication buses/protocols (such as SPI, I2C, UART, ARINC-429)
  • Proficiency in the use of laboratory equipment (such as power supplies, oscilloscopes, protocol analyzers, multimeters)
